Fitting Bolts
With special cutting tools, damaged fitting bolts can be drilled out without damage the bolt seat.

For example:
  • flange joints of propulsion plants
  • ragged studs on main engines
  • Etc.
Ships Main Engines
In situ line boring on ships main and auxiliary engines is needed in following areas:
  • Line boring of main bearings in bed plates
  • Machining cylinder liner seats on engine blocks (for bushes in the lower area and L- or Z - rings in the upper area, as well as cylinder liner landing faces)
  • Drilling out of ragged studs on main engines
  • Etc.
Rudder Plants
  • Machining of damaged neck bearings and pintles
  • Machining rudder machine foundation flanges
  • Machining cylindrical or conical shaft seats on rudder blades
Stern Tubes
  • line boring of stern tube and supporting bearing (A- and I-frames) seats for propulsion plants
A specifically of T&D developed laser alignment method with laser systems, into combination with boring bars, ensures a perfect axis situation of the drive shaft bearings.
A complete documentation gives our customers safety, because unnecessary operating failures are a thing of the past after using our alignment method.
